The Techiman-Krobo Nursing and Midwifery Training College, established in 2012, has demonstrated remarkable growth and development over the years. The college began its journey in a modest six-unit classroom block generously donated by the Krobo SDA Primary School. With an initial enrollment of 179 Nurse Assistant students and just 7 dedicated teaching staff members, the institution embarked on its mission to provide quality healthcare education to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the healthcare sector. Despite its humble beginnings, the college quickly became a beacon of hope for aspiring healthcare workers in the region and beyond. Over the years, it has continually expanded its infrastructure, academic programs, and support services, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of its students and the communities it serves. This commitment to excellence has resulted in a significant increase in student enrollment and staff capacity. As of today, a decade after its establishment, the Techiman-Krobo Nursing and Midwifery Training College boasts a thriving student population of 861 and a robust team of 70 staff members, including both teaching and non-teaching personnel. The growth reflects the institution’s unwavering dedication to providing a conducive learning environment, fostering academic excellence, and equipping students with the practical skills required to excel in the healthcare field.
